Anti Microbial Masterbatches

Different types of microbes like mould fungi, mildew fungi, algae, yeasts are found everywhere. Untreated plastic articles can be attacked by growth of microbes causing discolouration, unpleasant odours and polymer degradation. Antimicrobial additives can be incorporated with plastic resins during compounding or as a Masterbatch during processing and provide a biocide treatment to control microbes. These antimicrobials protect the surface from staining and degradation caused by micro-organisms.
